The «On the Way» Hook

«Po Puti» — a wall hook inspired by the concept of a route. Its smooth S-curve alludes to the line of a journey that passes through the letters of the «MEZHDU» project’s typeface. The object merges functionality with expressive plasticity: the hook becomes not merely a place for storage, but a small interior design element that extends the brand’s visual language.

«On the Way» is a functional object for everyday use. Its minimalist form allows the hook to integrate seamlessly into a contemporary interior, while its smooth curve makes it a standalone decorative element. The project focuses primarily on silhouette, proportions, and the marriage of practicality with minimalist aesthetics.

The hook’s form is based on continuous line movement. The curves create an expressive silhouette, while the base forms a functional protrusion for storing clothing, bags, and other daily items. Attachment is intended to be concealed so as not to distract from the object’s form and to maintain compositional purity.

For manufacturing the hook, a metal body with a smooth curve and carefully finished surface is considered. Metal was chosen as the material capable of providing the product’s strength and preserving the intended silhouette. The anticipated production process includes preparing the digital model, fabricating the body according to the defined geometry, finishing the edges and surface, applying the final coating, and installing the mounting element. The final manufacturing method depends on the chosen metal, the cross-section of the body, and the complexity of the curves. Before production, the design must be checked for structural integrity and usability.

The hook consists of a main curved body and a mounting assembly that secures it to the wall. Concealed mounting is preferred: the hardware should not disrupt the aesthetic appearance of the object.

«On the Way» continues the graphic language of the «BETWEEN» project beyond the digital product. The smooth line, which symbolizes movement between route points in the identity, becomes the basis for the physical object’s form. The hook merges practical function with a recognizable visual image, transforming an everyday interior element into an extension of the project’s overall concept.
