CONE Lamp

CONE — a nightlight inspired by the traffic cones used on racetracks and in go-karting. It is made of translucent plastic, allowing the LED inside the body to softly illuminate its surface. The base integrates the battery compartment and the switch.The line is available in three colors—orange, yellow, and blue. Additionally, the item can be personalized with racing stickers; the user chooses how to decorate the cone.The nightlight comes complete with a box packaging that includes a carrying strap.

The collection includes three color options: orange, yellow, and blue. These colors evoke the vibrant visual environment of go-karting and help you choose a nightlight to match your decor or curate your own set. The translucent plastic interacts with light differently, lending a unique character to each option.

The set includes racing stickers for decorating the body. The user can choose their own layout to create a personalized design. Thanks to this customization, the same cone can look different, and the decoration process itself becomes part of the interaction with the product.

• textile strap for packagingProduction Method:The cone body and base are 3D printed from plastic. Semi-transparent orange, yellow, and blue materials are used for the body, while opaque plastic is used for the base. After printing, the parts are cleaned of supports and finished. The LED module is installed in the body, and the battery compartment, contacts, and switch are installed in the base. Finally, the body is attached to the base, and the stickers and the box with the strap are added to the set.

First, I sketched a small paper prototype of a traffic cone-shaped nightlight. The sketches illustrated its overall silhouette, base, light strips, and the placement of the switch and batteries.Next, I added stickers to the sketches—small racing illustrations and text that could decorate the cone. These stickers are envisioned as an optional accessory for the kit; the user decides which ones to use and where to place them.

The collection includes a box with a strap. It protects the nightlight during storage and transport, and the strap makes the packaging convenient for carrying. Inside, the item and a set of stickers for customization are included.The packaging continues the racing theme of the CONO collection, presenting the nightlight as a complete set—an item ready to use immediately and style to your liking.
