InOutdoor — a furniture collection for balconies, loggias, and terraces. The storage bench combines three functions into one volume. The furniture is equally suitable for a balcony or a room and is designed as a complete product for a small series.
The Undervalued Space Between Home and Street
Balconies, loggias, verandas, and terraces—these are 4–8 square meters between the house and the street that most people either clutter or furnish with awkward garden furniture they are hesitant to display.
Storage Bench
The tabletops fold down at the ends and are secured with foldable black brackets. In the folded configuration, the bench measures 110 cm, and when extended, it is 130 cm. Storage is enclosed by sliding slat doors, which do not require space to open, making them ideal for even the narrowest balconies.
Mechanism without complex hardware. The tabletop folds up to a horizontal position and is secured by a folding bracket. When folded, it hangs vertically along the side—keeping the bench compact. The bracket is made of stainless steel with black powder coating, supporting up to 20–25 kg.
Technology and Production Chain
The object is assembled from components that can be made in various ways. The chain is designed for a small series: some operations can be performed in the School of Design workshops (Wattsan 0609 CNC milling machine, working area 600 × 900 mm), while the casing and the series will come from external solid wood furniture production.

Defense, Storage, and Transport
A cardboard box sized to the body, complete with protective inserts for the legs and corners. Fold-down side tables when collapsed, a cushion in a separate cover, and mounting hardware included. The box also contains assembly instructions. The flat slat design and removable cushion keep the weight and volume within reasonable limits for courier delivery.
