As part of the course «Information Sources in Media Communications, ” I prepared a news piece based on the song by MC Noize, „The Universe is Infinite.“ The goal was to translate the artistic imagery from the track’s lyrics into a news report format—specifically, by adding a location, details, simulated expert commentary, and establishing a logical sequence of events.
I used the following as sources:
• The original song lyrics (as the primary source and plot foundation)
• Principles of news journalism (the „what–where–when“ structure, working with quotes, highlighting the main points)
• Guidelines for presenting creative content in the media.

Moscow physicist announced the creation of a device for communicating with parallel universes
Experimental physicist and senior research fellow at the Institute of Physical Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Ivan Alekseev, announced the creation of a compact apparatus, the size of a standard computer tower, capable of piercing spacetime and capturing signals from parallel dimensions. The first successful test of the setup took place on the night of September 22nd in the scientist’s laboratory, reports the correspondent.
At a presentation for journalists, the physicist demonstrated video footage of direct contact with another reality. The footage shows Alekseev himself, and across from him on a monitor, his exact replica—a double from a neighboring dimension—is displayed. The double looks identical but is seated in a room with a slightly different interior design and holds the same apparatus. During the brief session, the researchers managed to wave to each other.
«If the Universe is truly infinite, then the same events are happening somewhere right now, and copies of our world exist. Ivan managed to prove this hypothesis and find a reality where everything happened not in spite of everything, but just as it should have, ” a close friend and assistant to the inventor told the correspondent.
According to witnesses, during the setup’s operation, a bright purple glow escaped from the laboratory windows, and a low hum was heard from the room. According to Mosenergosbyt, a brief voltage surge was recorded at a city substation while the device was running.
