«The Chameleon Effect» is a project about those whose guilt cannot be suspected at first glance. We analyzed real stories to understand why our certainty—“I would have noticed everything”—is actually just an illusion of security. In the first episode, we explored the life of Jack Kevorkian, a doctor who helped terminally ill patients pass away.
I served as the camera operator and editor for the episode. I filmed all the necessary B-roll footage and assembled the material shot by the team into a cohesive narrative.
The scenes I shot were: 00:00–00:03, 01:00–01:12 (I handled everything shown in the frame myself: photos, medical records), and then I filmed the stories of Janet Atkins and Bram Thomas Yuk.
I handled the entire editing of the video from beginning to end. I created a plan for myself and assembled the footage piece by piece, sourcing archival clips.
