Concept
Fatigue isn’t just about physical weakness. It’s about overload—expectations, anxiety, routine, unspoken feelings, and the effort to remain strong. I’ve collected six states that resonate with everyone: from burnout to the desire to simply disappear for a while. This series is a quiet reminder: it’s normal to feel tired. What matters is noticing it and being kind to yourself. The pillows function as a visual diary of our states. Six different, familiar sensations. Here, the pillow isn’t just a piece of home decor; it’s a reminder, in a short first-person phrase, of the thoughts you need to give yourself permission to voice—a space where fatigue becomes visible and acceptable. A place where you can simply be. Lie down. Do nothing. And recover a little.

Creation Technology
Detailed preliminary sketches, including typography and silhouettes, were created. Subsequently, the design was mirrored and transferred onto a sheet of linoleum for engraving. White space elements were carved out manually using gouges. To convey texture, a technique of fine parallel and cross-hatching was employed. This resulted in a relief printing block where the ink was intended to adhere only to the raised areas. Black, specialized high-relief ink was applied to the raised areas of the linoleum using a roller. The block was then firmly pressed against the fabric. Under pressure, the ink transferred from the relief to the material, creating a characteristic contrast impression with vibrant, slightly textured edges. The final result was a piece featuring distinct, handcrafted graphics, where the high-relief printing preserved the texture of the linocut and hand carving.
