The vase, «Dune Mold,» is an interior decor piece inspired by the atmosphere of the endless desert in the game «Sand&Solder.»
A ceramic vase, sculpted like honed sandstone, was created as an object that transfers a fragment of atmosphere and warmth into reality. The form and design are based on three key aspects: the «waves» of sand, the rough, porous texture in places, and the memorable sheen in the light.

— This is a game about a lone engineer who breathes life back into a rusty desert by tending to cyber-giants.The game’s aesthetic blends the melancholic stillness of endless sand dunes with the harsh quest for materials. The project’s key motif is a vibrant oasis sprouting through dead metal. By restoring the mechanical joints of elephants, the player isn’t just repairing machines—they are connecting bygone technologies with withering nature, literally making the planet breathe anew.

Primary: Placement on a console table in the entryway, a coffee table in the living room, or in a niche with directed lighting to emphasize texture.Floristic: Filling with water and placing single, large blooms or monochromatic arrangements of dried flowers.

Construction and Manufacturing Technologies
• Material: High-temperature grog clay mixed with fine fired grit, which maintains complex plasticity during sculpting.
• Surface Aesthetic: The natural terracotta color of the fired clay without a continuous glaze coating. This preserves the stone’s inherent matte finish, texture, and tactility.
• Decoration and Relief: Incising textural lines into the raw clay. To add depth to the relief, a dark slip is manually rubbed into the resulting grooves before firing.
• Interior Glazing: Clear or opaque glaze applied only to the interior for moisture protection.
