Idea
A collection of ceramic jewelry that continues the aesthetic concept of the «Chayaniye» studio embodies the idea of preserving nature’s beauty and transforming fleeting moments into tangible memories.
The collection’s pieces—brooches, pendants, and rings—evoke ancient Mediterranean artifacts. The milk-white background, rich cobalt color, and natural texture of the ceramics lend the jewelry a sense of connection to the past.
Each piece incorporates a piece of dried flora from the «Chayaniye» compositions. This small fragment of a flower is associated with a specific event, person, or emotion. Thus, the flower moves beyond the bouquet, finding new life in everyday objects.
«Fragments of Memory» is a way to carry memories with you. By combining nature’s fragility, ceramic durability, and the atmosphere of Crimea, the collection transforms the flower into a personal totem, a reminder of what is dear to the heart.

Dimensions
The clay shrinkage was 6%.

Five universal formats have been developed to facilitate mass production and accelerate results.
Technical Information
Material: «Verba» clay without grog.
Shrinkage: 6%
Forming: Cutting clay slabs to shape, followed by joining the ring components with slip.
Firing: Bisque (1000°C) Glaze Fired (1200°C)
Glaze: Sky blue engobe («Nikodim» 3010) Clear glaze 0132
Application Method: Imprinting dried flowers onto the clay, followed by toning with engobe.
Additional Materials: Dried flowers for imprinting on clay Bローチ pin clasp (silver) Cord for pendant
Production Technology

- Slab Preparation: Knead the clay and roll it out into a slab 3–5 mm thick.
- Dried Flower Impression: Arrange dried flowers on the clay and roll over them with a rolling pin to create a botanical relief.
- Object Shaping: Cut out the forms for brooches and pendants, and separately shape the two parts of the ring.
- Texture Creation: Treat the edges with soda and vinegar to create a porous, rough surface.
- Ring Assembly: Join the two clay parts using slip and smooth the joint.
- Detailing: Finish the edges and punch a hole in the pendant.
- Drying: Allow the pieces to dry completely.
- First Firing: Fire the dried pieces at 1000 degrees.

- Staining with Angob: Apply the angob and paint the surface with a blue botanical ornament.
10. Sponge Finishing: Gently wipe the surface with a damp sponge to remove excess angob.

- Glazing: We cover the pieces with a transparent glaze to protect the surface and add shine.
12. Second Firing: We fire the pieces again to set the glaze and painting.
13. Final Assembly: We attach the metal clasp to the brooch and thread the cord through the pendant.

Additional Information
In the 3D modeling program, universal forms were created to accelerate production and refine the shape. They are completely ready for 3D printing and provided in STL format on temp.
Subsequent production may exhibit variations in the imprint of dried flowers and the edge treatment using soda and vinegar.
