Original Project
My previous project, «TEKLO,» is a functional decor piece made from recycled plastic lids. Here, the material is not hidden but becomes an accent within a new visual culture, demonstrating the potential of secondary raw materials through contemporary design.Project link: https://portfolio.hse.ru/Project/303141

New Identity
The core concept of TEKLO’s new identity remains the idea of giving plastic caps a second life. Now, its circular shape and texture are carried through the logo, mirrors, vases, and coasters, while the colored fragments become a recognizable material pattern.
Logo

Prompt: Flat vector wordmark logo on a pure white background, the Cyrillic word «ТЕКЛ» in an ultra-bold, tight, geometric sans-serif (like Inter Display Black), solid black with very tight letter spacing, the letter Л has a curved left leg; the final letter «О» is replaced by a cobalt blue ring drawn like a plastic bottle cap seen from above: a thick ring with a white hole in the center and 64 short white radial notches around the outer edge like the grip ribs of a cap; the ring is the same height as the letters, clean flat graphic design, no shadows, no gradients, no mockup
Color Palette
Most often, discarded plastic bottle caps end up in recycling, and they are almost always blue, light blue, or white. Therefore, the main bulk of the recycled material in the products is blue, making cobalt the primary color choice.

Fonts

Claude based the typography on two weights of a single grotesque typeface. The dense Inter Display Black is used in headlines and numerals, lending a quality like an imprint molded onto a plastic cap. The calmer Inter Medium handles captions, labels, and material passports, transforming the carriers into technical specification sheets.
New Products
General prompt section for all product images:
Clean studio product shot on a seamless warm-gray background with a soft gradient, soft diffused overhead lighting, subtle contact shadow, object cast from resin filled with small, flat-cut fragments of recycled plastic bottle caps in cobalt blue, sky blue, white, and rare red, yellow, and green (sharp-edged flakes, not glitter)

A round coaster, three-quarter view from above, featuring a clear resin center densely filled with blue, white, and colorful cap flakes, encased by a translucent cobalt blue outer ring with a finely ribbed side, resembling a bottle cap tamper ring.
A round coaster made of crystal-clear resin with a softly rounded edge, shown from a three-quarter overhead view. It contains sparse blue, white, yellow, and red cap flakes, and features a fine engraved spiral groove on the top, like a bottle thread.

- Straight cylindrical vase, approximately 24 cm tall, shown from the front at a slight high angle. It features thick-walled clear resin with fine vertical ribs wrapping around the entire surface, densely filled with cobalt, sky blue, white, and a scattering of red, yellow, and black cap flakes. The rim is polished.2. Squat cylindrical vase with slightly rounded shoulders. The body is made of clear resin with dense, fine vertical ribs and numerous blue, white, and colorful cap flakes. It rests on a separate, thicker band of translucent cobalt blue resin at the base, resembling a bottle cap tamper ring. Frontal view, slightly from above.

- A wall mirror shaped like a flat bottle silhouette, approximately 90 cm tall, featuring a narrow frame of clear resin filled with blue, white, and colorful flakes. Topped with a translucent cobalt blue rectangular cap with vertical ribs, the mirror glass reflects a window.2. A round wall mirror, 60 cm in diameter, with a wide frame of translucent cobalt blue resin incorporating 60 radial frosted engraved slots, reminiscent of bottle cap grip ribs. It contains white and pale blue flakes, with the round mirror glass centered and reflecting a window.
Key visuals

- Minimal product poster on a warm off-white paper background, featuring a centered round wall mirror with a thick, translucent cobalt blue resin frame. The frame has radial engraved grip ribs, reminiscent of a bottle cap edge, and is filled with small, flat flakes of white, sky blue, and rare red and yellow plastic. There is a soft window reflection in the mirror, and a few tiny colorful plastic chips are scattered below, accompanied by a soft studio shadow. There is large empty space at the bottom reserved for typography.2. A photo of a five-story beige stucco apartment building on a sunny day with a clear blue sky. A huge vertical advertising banner is on the side wall; the banner is off-white and features a large round cobalt blue mirror with a ribbed resin frame and a bold black headline below. A row of young green trees lines the street, casting shadows on the wall. The shot is taken from a low angle on the sidewalk, in realistic urban photography style.
