The location is at Rodchelskaya Street, 15, buildings 17–18, within the historical Trekhgornaya Manufactory complex in Moscow’s Presnensky district. This is a central city location with well-developed business, retail, and gastronomic infrastructure.

The Trekhgornaya Manufactory has existed since 1799 and was originally a large textile production facility. The area developed as an independent industrial quarter featuring manufacturing buildings and internal spaces. Today, the historic buildings have taken on new functions—they house offices, shops, restaurants, and various services.

The campus already hosts a diverse commercial environment: cafes, restaurants, coffee shops, fashion boutiques, and other lifestyle projects. Among the establishments are Touché, Skuratov Coffee, Surf Coffee, Zotman Pizza, and Canteen. However, there is no direct equivalent to the Smeg Experience: the existing venues primarily offer ready-made products, whereas the Smeg project could integrate a shop, equipment demonstrations, coffee service, and interactive experiences.

Target Audience

The primary audience for this space comprises young professionals, entrepreneurs, designers, and residents of central Moscow districts, typically aged 25–40 and possessing a medium to high income level. These are individuals interested in design, gastronomy, technology, and contemporary lifestyle brands—people who value not only a product’s functionality but also its aesthetic appeal, quality, and recognizability.
A secondary audience includes office employees and visitors to the Trekhgornaya Manufactory who stop by for lunch, coffee, meetings, shopping, or leisure. A distinct group consists of potential Smeg appliance buyers, including new homeowners and interior designers, for whom the appliance’s appearance and its synergy with the interior design are crucial.
The interactive nature of the space is particularly well-suited to this audience: rather than merely viewing products, visitors have the opportunity to experience the appliances in real-life scenarios—making coffee, toasting bread, using kitchen gadgets, and relaxing within the curated environment. In this way, Smeg transcends being just an appliance store and becomes an integral part of the everyday lifestyle experience.

Brand

Smeg is an Italian family brand that originated in 1948. The company began by manufacturing metal goods before evolving into home appliances. Smeg became one of the brands that turned everyday kitchen equipment into an integral part of interior design and a standalone design object. The core concept of the brand is «Technology with style”—a synthesis of advanced technology, functionality, and expressive design. For Smeg, Italian style, quality, usability, and attention to detail are paramount.

The Troikhgornaya Manufactory is a historical space originally connected with production and design.

The Smeg Showroom organically fits into this environment, merging the history of manufacturing with contemporary technology, design, and gastronomy. The interactive format will complement the existing infrastructure of the Troikhgornaya Manufactory with a new experience—not just viewing the appliances, but seeing them in interiors, testing them, and using them in real-life scenarios.
