I am a 3D generalist artist. I can bring any idea to life, whether as a short study or as a game level. I will find a technical solution for any task. This is my portfolio, where you can get acquainted with my creative work and style.

«Noticed» — a cinematic with a MetaHuman character

A short thriller cinematic. A heroine witnesses a murder, the maniac notices her — and a chase begins. The goal was to sustain tension throughout the chase and make the ending unexpected.

A story about how sometimes people can end up in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The main thing in this project is the pace and tension of the chase. I built the location in Unreal Engine 5 and set up the lighting so that shadows and dark areas read simultaneously as a threat and as cover. I set up the heroine and the maniac in MetaHuman and animated them — from the murder scene to the finale with the car. I directed the chase with the camera: changing shots, angles, and movement keep the viewer close to the heroine and don’t let them relax until the very ending. I assembled the scenes in Sequencer and did the final editing in After Effects.

«Wrong Way» — an atmospheric study

A short film about a girl who accidentally passes through textures, finds herself in a frightening world, and tries to escape it. The goal was to make this world alien and unsettling through light, volumetric fog, and composition.

Be careful — even familiar roads can lead the wrong way.

The world beyond the textures had to feel alien from the very first frame — that’s where I started. I built the location in Unreal Engine 5 and composed it so that the eye goes into the depth and finds no way out there. Light volumetric fog (volumetrics in Unreal) and backlighting highlight silhouettes and dissolve distant planes, while the cold color palette sustains the uneasy mood. With the camera I built the heroine’s path through this world. I rendered the video in Unreal and assembled the edit in After Effects.

«Nightmare» — level design.

A horror game level — a nightmare in an endless basement. In reality the basement is finite: the feeling of endlessness had to be created artificially while not letting the player get lost.

Original size 640x360

Sometimes bad dreams happen.

The most interesting part of the work was the space. The level is compact, but I built it so that the player feels the endlessness of the basement: the space is carefully reduced, and the player can’t go «nowhere,» even though that’s exactly how it feels. I assembled the rooms in Unreal Engine 5 and filled them with details that heighten the anxiety. Dim local light sources and deep shadows guide the player through the level and leave part of the space unspoken. I made the heroine’s model myself, and rendered the level video in Unreal and edited it in After Effects.

«Light of the Forest» — a short film with a character and VFX

A short film about a girl who was gathering mushrooms and got lost. She is helped out by little lights and a glowing silhouette — here light literally drives the story.
