Protest has always been a central theme in rock music

Irony and self-irony have ceased to be mere artistic devices in our time; they have become everyday language. They fundamentally alter the perception of reality, just as your native language changes how you view the world. Yet, initiating open dialogue is crucial—and often, people are ready to do so, shedding their «steel» armor. These intimate moments are highly valued by both participants and listeners.

Parket — Palette is a musical album in the genres of art rock and chamber pop about a person who gets lost between sincerity and irony while trying to reconnect with their own feelings. Live rock instrumentation immerses the listener more deeply into the context and leaves the sound free from electronic «sterility.»

When recording an album, the group minimizes the use of electronic instruments and metronomes. All instruments must play in symbiosis with one another, generating a connection that is difficult to achieve during sequential, piece-by-piece recording.

The workflow is divided into the following stages:

• Core Sonic Identity. References, toolkit assembly, overall sonic palette


• Material and Arrangements. Lyrics, musical composition, and chamber parts [strings, woodwinds, keys]


• Final Recording.


• Mixing and Mastering.


• Visuals and Rollout. Cover art, design collateral, release

The project is currently in the phase of exploring its unique sonic identity and developing initial demo recordings. Next up will be the final recording, mixing, mastering, packaging, and release. The defense is in May.

The album expresses a protest against a culture where irony has displaced open dialogue about feelings. Its goal is to demonstrate that sincerity is possible even in such moments, offering the listener a chance to find their own experience within the music.
