Melt

For ages, the candle has been used as a time counter. Today, many people are returning to analog tools, but this comes with a significant loss in accuracy and functionality.

Melt is a set of modular candles designed for conscious breaks from digital devices. Four wax block shapes assemble onto a wooden wick in various compositions. Each module sets the duration of the pause, and the base, which includes a slot for a phone, helps transform it into a small daily ritual.

To successfully disconnect from social media, simply setting a timer on your phone and waiting until you can browse the feed again is not enough. For the desired results, you should put the smartphone away physically—and if you lose track of time, we will help.
