The work explores the interaction between form and void through the texture of paper surfaces. Abstract silhouettes resemble traces of objects extracted from the material. The collage translates the principles of papier-mâché shaping into a graphic language, while plasticization transforms the image into a standalone interior object.

Form is born at the boundary of material and void.
The work is presented in a 40×60 cm format. The collage references papier-mâché through the texture of the paper and the interplay between form and void: white silhouettes appear as if extracted from the material. Plastic coating adds a contrast between the roughness of the image and the smooth surface of the acrylic.
Technique: Laminate
