— Topic: Investing and Trading — Audience: Beginners interested in the subject — Format: Blog featuring market analysis, deal reviews, and strategy breakdowns — Platforms: Telegram and Zen, with potential expansion to an application or web platform — Promotion: Short vertical videos (YouTube Shorts, VK Clips, Zen)

How Competitors Were Researched Analysis Goal: To understand what this audience is already interacting with and how a new medium could offer greater value. We searched through Telegram channel collections focused on investments (Halva Media, 1000bankov.ru, vc.ru), the Telemetr catalog, the RBC YouTube channel list, and the Moscow Exchange website. Metrics for three direct competitors were sourced from Telemetr as of October 4, 2026. We assessed presentation quality based on the open feeds of the channels and screenshots of recent posts.
Additionally, we evaluated the strength of each competitor. Strong players capture audience attention, while weaker ones can become a source of growth. This evaluation is subjective, based on the metrics available at the cutoff date.
Criteria

Seven criteria for winning attention: platforms; content adaptation; visual style; tone of voice; tools and formats; audience reaction; audience dynamics.
Three channels where we introduce newcomers.

Potential Competitors
They are entering the investment market from related fields. According to market participants, the main advantage of these players is their extensive client base and promotion within their own applications. Currently, they are focusing on simple tools, and their success will depend on trust and expertise. We have not checked whether they currently offer educational content. Source: Ink., June 11, 2026.
Conclusions and Recommendations
- The niche isn’t growing. All three channels are losing subscribers, from -0.28% to -0.64% per month. Solution: Do not create another channel dedicated to market news; establish one unique selling proposition from the initial launch.
- Feeds are dominated by news and reports. Recent posts from «Divan» and InvestFuture cover dividends, company reports, and macroeconomics; the Moscow Exchange offers systematic free training. Solution: focus on learning through real-life examples—each analysis should start by explaining 1–2 key terms in simple language—and organize materials into a topic-based archive.
- The audience is ready to engage. A poll on «What should we analyze next?» run by «Student Investments» garnered 1,185 votes from 12,000 views (approximately 10%). Solution: readers vote on the topic for the next analysis; implement a «Novice Virtual Portfolio Challenge» that does not involve real money.
- The recognizable template works, provided the methodology is transparent. The «Student» cards are instantly understandable, but the 14-point «attractiveness» scale is explained using vague terms. Solution: develop our own standardized analysis card template and disclose the complete methodology.
- Trust is key. Advertising for «trading education» generated around 50 reactions, whereas the portfolio post received about 600 reactions for comparable views (11.1k and 13.8k). Solution: never promise returns, clearly label advertisements, revisit past analyses, and openly display mistakes.
- There is a shortage of video content and cheat sheets, but they are being shared. In Telegram, IF posts 517 out of ~15,000 posts (about 3%) with video, while «Divan» posts 21 out of ~3,200. Videos may also be shared on other platforms. IF also publishes cards with the prompt «save and share.» Solution: use short videos as the primary attraction channel, supplemented by easily shareable summary cards.
Conclusion
Industry leaders have reach, but their recent feeds are dominated by news, and questions of trust remain unanswered. This is the space for a new media—learning from scratch through live analysis, an open methodology, and an honest tone.
