«Two Sides of St. Petersburg» is a series of seven photographs illustrating how opposites coexist within the city. In each frame, two facets of the city collide: the grand and the everyday, the old and the new, the prominent and the unnoticed, the vibrant and the fading. Each image reveals both semantic and visual contrast, helping to convey the city’s inherent ambiguity.
The photo project was created as part of the «Fundamentals of Photography» course.
