Designers Lesya Grishina and Andrey Skobinov created their first piece of furniture in a limited series of eight copies. The bench was presented at the Volokno gallery stand at Cosmoscow 2024. «We design many pieces of furniture and decor for our projects. Once, it was decided to make some items independent of the projects,» the authors share. «We associate our first collection with the works of Robert Morris, in which he invites us to feel simple geometric shapes in space. He places two rectangles next to each other, horizontally and vertically, and gives us the opportunity to feel how differently we perceive simple material forms. The bench should create a similar effect of a smooth, pure form. And how this form changes the feeling of the space around it.».
