The original project—a series of single-panel comics—explores the difficulties a child faces when the differing desires of adults clash on a family holiday or during a gathering of guests.
Original project. Spreads and illustrations.
My project is centered around the theme of a family celebration, so I searched for an idea that perfectly captures that atmosphere. The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of the word «celebration» is cakes, sweets, and treats. This is why I decided to dedicate this project to creating a brand for a family bakery.
From the original project, I also took the main colors—pink, yellow—and stylistic elements for the patterns: texture, hatching, brightness, and detail.
«Zephy» — an explosion of color and flavor: juicy fruit and berry combinations, vibrant hues, and handcrafted detail. Each dessert is a thoughtfully composed piece where color unveils the taste. The interior complements this energy: contrasts and lighting accents create a lively, photogenic atmosphere. Come get your dose of good mood!

The cake is covered in a thick, glossy layer of bright white vanilla buttercream frosting with elegant, soft vertical swirls. The top is lavishly decorated with a vibrant explosion of colorful sprinkles, including rainbow jimmies, metallic gold pearls, and bright nonpareils that cascade slightly over the edges. Beside the main cake sits a single perfect slice on a small white plate, revealing moist, fluffy white sponge layers inside. The lighting is bright, soft, and diffused, typical of modern food photography, creating gentle shadows that highlight the creamy texture of the frosting and the crunchy texture of the sprinkles. The image is captured with a macro lens, extremely sharp focus, 8K resolution, high detail, cinematic color grading, and a minimalist aesthetic.AI Generator: Arena ai

The cake has an even round shape, with the cream creating smooth swirls on top that reveal its velvety texture. The cherry berries are plump and glossy, their vibrant red color contrasting beautifully against the dark chocolate base and white cream. Colorful candy sprinkles in various shapes—stars, dots, and circles—add playfulness to the design. The entire composition is set against a pastel yellow background, creating a cheerful and appetizing atmosphere. The image should feature a close-up view, focusing on the details of the cake’s surface, making it look like a professional food photograph.AI Network: Arena ai

1. Tote Bag
To create the tote bag, I decided to generate a pattern based on the brand’s theme and colors. To do this, I asked Gigachat to describe the illustration style from my zine. The result was as follows:
Texture: The paper’s texture and the brushstrokes take center stage. Splatters, smears, and brush marks are visible (especially on the character’s face). This lends the work vitality and a sense of «handcrafted quality.»
Color Palette: Shades of red dominate: pink, raspberry, burgundy, and terracotta. White, purple, and gold are used as accents. The colors are vibrant but not garish; they create a cozy atmosphere.
Line and Contour: Object contours are soft and fluid. They are drawn with a thin line over the colored layer, which is characteristic of the «watercolor + liner» technique or digital graphics simulating this effect.Prompt: Gigachat
Next, I asked the Arena AI neural network to generate pattern images for a tote bag based on the described style.
Texture: The paper texture and paint strokes come to the forefront. Splashes, streaks, and brush marks are visible (especially on the character’s face). This lends the work a lively and «handmade» feel. Color palette: Shades of red dominate: pink, crimson, burgundy, and terracotta. White, purple, and gold are used as accents. The colors are bright but not garish; they create a cozy atmosphere. Line and contour: The contours of the objects are soft and smooth. They are drawn with a thin line over the colored layer, which is typical of the «watercolor + liner» technique or digital graphics imitating this effect. Based on this style, create a pattern for confectionery featuring different cupcakes. Use only pink and yellow shades. Use the attached photo as a reference.

Shopper Bag Generation:
Create a photorealistic 8k photo of a shopper bag featuring the pattern from the attached image. The logo from the second attached image should be placed in the center, without any distortions or scaling issues. Use a pure yellow background with no details or shadows. Ensure that the surface of the white bag is smooth and avoid adding artificial lighting effects. The bag’s handles are pink.

2. Tea Set
To generate the pattern for a tea set, I kept the same style description but slightly adjusted what needs to be depicted:
Texture: The paper texture and paint strokes come to the forefront. Splashes, streaks, and brush marks are visible (especially on the character’s face). This gives the work a lively and «handmade» feel. Color palette: Shades of red dominate: pink, crimson, burgundy, and terracotta. White, purple, and gold are used as accents. They are drawn with a thin line over the colored layer, which is typical of the «watercolor + liner» technique or digital graphics with an imitation of this effect. Using this style, create a pattern for a confectionery featuring different cakes: chocolate and strawberry. Use only pink and yellow shades. Use the attached photo as a reference.

Make them mug stand in the middle of the plate.(Here I asked Arena AI to generate a tea set in a different configuration: the mug should stand in the center of the plate. But the neural network suggested two interesting variations.)
3. Cap
For generating the cap pattern, I also included a similar style description but adjusted what needs to be depicted:
Texture: The paper texture and paint strokes come to the forefront. Splashes, streaks, and brush marks are visible (especially on the character’s face). This gives the work a lively and «handmade» feel. Color palette: Shades of red dominate: pink, crimson, burgundy, and terracotta. White, purple, and gold are used as accents. They are drawn with a thin line over the colored layer, which is typical of the «watercolor + liner» technique or digital graphics with an imitation of this effect. Based on this style, create a pattern for confectionery featuring éclairs with chocolate and strawberry cream. Use only pink and yellow shades. Use an attached photo as a reference, but do not draw cupcakes.
