In forgotten lands, among misty forests and a silent lake, once stood a village where people worshipped ancient gods. Everything changed with the arrival of outsiders who brought a new faith and built a church on an island. The old belief clashed with the new, turning the villagers into irreconcilable enemies. After the death of a girl who refused to choose a side, the village was overcome by famine, disease, and a mysterious blight.

The elders said the forest heard prayers, and the earth remembered every sacrifice made to it.

Amid the fields stood idols of ancient gods. As offerings were brought to them, the village lived by old laws.
One day, an alien light appeared on the island. With it came a faith that promised salvation to the people.
The newcomers built a church in the middle of the lake. Some residents embraced the new faith, while others refused to abandon their old gods.
The village split apart. What was once a single home became a place of disputes, hatred, and cruelty.
The crosses became more and more numerous. Some were erected in memory of the dead, while others served as a symbol of triumph over old beliefs.
But one girl refused to choose a side. For this, both factions labeled her a traitor and delivered a collective sentence upon her.
That night, the lake took more than just her life. After that night, the village was struck by famine and sickness. People began dying one after another until the homes were empty.
