Painting of Pu
This work explores the variability of matter and the boundary between its physical states. Transparent, molten-like forms layer upon one another, creating a sensation of simultaneous movement and stasis. Light penetrates some surfaces while reflecting off others, blurring the lines between form, texture, and space.
The familiar material becomes nearly unrecognizable, transforming into an abstract landscape. The plasticization continues this play of perception: the smooth surface of the acrylic contrasts with the complex, flowing texture of the image.

Laminating is a technique for creating interior graphics where a photographic print is mounted onto clear acrylic glass. A rigid aluminum backing with hidden mounting hardware is attached to the reverse side.Lamination enhances color depth and the play of reflections, causing the image to be perceived differently depending on the lighting and viewing angle.
