Cover Design Brief: Frame the theme as a story of movement, searching, or transformation.
Formulate your theme not as a static concept, but as the beginning of a journey or a narrative of change. Phrases incorporating movement, challenge, or exploration tend to work particularly well. The cover must promise development, not merely convey facts.
Step 2. The Hero
Представить героя, с которым можно соотнестись
Show the character specifically: through a situation, motivation, and initial conditions. It is important to create a sense of identification—similarity in role, task, or state. The clearer the starting point, the stronger the perceived change will be.
Step 3. The Test
Провести героя через трудности, решения и внутренние повороты
Show the journey not as a smooth process, but as a sequence of calls and choices. Include doubt, mistakes, and tension—they amplify empathy. Do not speed up this section too much: engagement is born from living through difficulty.
Step 4. Transformation
Показать, как изменился герой — в понимании, подходе или состоянии
Focus not on external victory, but on the hero’s internal change. Transformation is a new lens, a new solution, or a new way of acting. It is important for the audience to see what has changed within the journey.
Step 5. Final
Закрепить пережитый путь как универсальный смысл
Connect the character’s transformation to a broader theme or principle applicable beyond the story itself. Help the audience mentally transpose the journey onto themselves. The ending should convey a sense of internal experience, not just a narrated tale.
