Emigrating causes a person to lose key gustatory memories of home. Here lies a poignant irony: familiar foods occupy one’s thoughts so completely that they become a part of life itself.

The print is executed using a linocut printing form on 120–160 g/m² linen fabric with textile acrylic paint, which does not require heat setting for a more noticeable wash effect.
The fabric and paint were selected so that they are tactilely comfortable and suit the theme of the project.
