CONCEPT
Plaster is a material for setting, casting, form, and archival purposes—monochromatic (white on white). Mist is a physical blur, an environment that diffuses light and the boundaries of objects. Together, they create a total plastic medium.
Wall reliefs and objects construct a pantheon of semi-human, semi-animal figures. These forms are in a state of constant transformation: they are not fixed in clear anatomy, but merely suggested. Their plasticity appeals to memories of ancient bas-reliefs, digital renders, and phantasmagorical bodily shifts, where the line between human and animal is fundamentally blurred.
