sunbox — a lamp that mimics the sun. It is an attempt to bring natural sunlight into areas where it is lacking. It is designed for people whose daily lives take place in conditions of insufficient sunlight.
Original size 3824x843
The lamp is a glass cube housing a light source that resembles the sun. Its glow is synchronized with the real sun and shifts depending on the time of day, imitating the major stages of a solar day: twilight, dawn, morning sun, noon, evening sun, and sunset. It is available in two sizes: a compact desk lamp and a large version that can serve as a nightstand or coffee table.
