Selivanovo is a municipal district in the Vladimir region where nature and culture intersect. However, the district has a goal: to become a recognized tourist destination and attract travelers looking for new routes. Today, we present a brand concept that will make Selivanovo vibrant, modern, and accessible to visitors!
City Mascot
We have chosen the lapwing as the symbol of the district. Why this bird? The lapwing is depicted on the coat of arms and is the central figure. According to legend, this bird nested along the banks of the Kolp River, which flows through the territory of the district. In these places, the phrase «White as the Kolp» was used, which suited both the river itself—the water in it was exceptionally clear. It was because of this that a paper mill was built on the river, and the settlement that arose around it later became the center of the Selivanovsky District—the settlement of Krasnaya Gorbatka. A simple yet vibrant character can become a mascot, a pattern, or an art object.

Kolpitsa
We have developed a series of three guides that reveal the most fascinating aspects of the Selivanovsky Krai region.
Tourist Product: Ilya Muromets Trail
This is not a route; it is a mythical adventure where guests will literally follow in the footsteps of the legendary hero, Ilya Muromets. The traveler will meet the loyal horse Burushka, hear the whistle of Solovey-Razboynik by the Kolpy River, and arrive at the final point—a massive gray stone. This is a real boulder that you can touch and feel the strength that, according to legend, Ilya Muromets himself drew from this spot.
Guidebook: A3 format
Spreads
The main feature of this format is that it’s not just a brochure that gets thrown away after the trip. Each guidebook (A3 format, folded eight times) functions in two modes. On one side, it is a detailed, interactive route map, and on the reverse side, it is a stylish, original poster. The tourist can take it home and hang it on their wall as a cool souvenir.

Special informational kiosks, designed in a unified illustrative style, have been developed specifically for the trail. As you wander through the woods, you will not get lost and will always know which stage of the fairy tale you are currently in.

Tourist Product: «Red Ridge» Map
Krasnaya Gorbatka — the center of attraction and the most populated settlement in the district. We have created a special product for it. This guidebook has a non-standard size (15×24 cm folded), allowing the map to open like louvred shutters (4 panels, total size 60×24 cm), inviting you to look inside the life of the village.

Red Hill Map
We created this map based on local toponymy—those distinctive, unofficial names that the residents themselves once coined. Official administrative documents remain silent on these names, but it is these very words that echo in the streets every day, passed down from generation to generation.
