Concept
The core of this design is the concept of «architectural fluidity.» I wanted to take the unshakable symbol of a classic wardrobe—a tailored shirt—and dismantle its familiar boundaries while preserving its inherent elegance. Olive silk proved to be the perfect medium for this idea: it holds its structure yet drapes softly, emphasizing both movement and the noble sheen of the fabric.
This philosophy is revealed in every detail of the technical sketch. A high stand collar maintains a noble formality, but the diagonal embossed seams of the placket break the usual symmetry, lending dynamism to the silhouette. The back panel, however, becomes the main accent: long ribbons that transition from the collar flow down the back.
