The Trail of Plants is a visual extension of my diploma comic, whose central plot features a druid whose life and inner world are closely interwoven with living nature.
This tapestry series translates into the real world the motifs that accompany the protagonist on his journey: the monochrome graphics of ancient herbalists, the whisper of sacred groves, and humanity’s fragile yet unbreakable connection to the earth.
Thanks to the deep contrast between the beige-linen background and the dark, fluid ink strokes, they look like both antique manuscripts and contemporary art objects.
Every plant here seems to breathe, responding to an invisible wind, creating an interior atmosphere of the living presence of an ancient forest and a harmony that fills the entire narrative of my diploma.
