Precious Heart is a short animated film in the dark fantasy genre, telling the story of a young thief whose passion for all things beautiful and valuable leads her into an unusual trap.
Logline
At a bustling fair, the protagonist spots an unusual item from a vendor—live insects made of gemstones. An attempt to catch one leads to a journey into a wondrous world where everything is literally made of treasure. However, danger lurks behind the dazzling beauty, and the desire to possess the jewels gradually transforms the heroine into a part of this world.

The main character is a bold, curious, and cunning thief, driven by greed and the desire to possess beautiful and valuable things. Her weakness is her inability to resist her own desires, which ultimately leads to her demise.
The Merchant is a charismatic, cunning, and calculating manipulator who exploits the greed and vanity of others to craft a dangerous spectacle. He is cold and devoid of empathy, and his greatest strength is the ability to turn people’s desires into a trap.
The figure with the mirror is a silent and perceptive guardian who recognizes people’s weaknesses and shows the mirror to those who cannot resist temptation. She symbolizes temptation, which reveals a person’s deepest desires.
Jewels entombed in insects are beautiful, fragile, and deceptively harmless creatures, captivating attention with their brilliance and unusual appearance. They symbolize the deceptive nature of beauty: the pursuit of the exquisite can lead to peril.
The crowd of buyers is a curious and trusting audience that perceives the events as an engaging performance. Unaware of the cruelty taking place, people become unwilling participants in the tragedy.
LOCATIONS
Inside the tent is a dim, distorted space filled with broken, murky mirrors that appears much larger than it is from the outside. At the center stands a mysterious figure in long robes, holding a pure, radiant mirror that mesmerizes with the reflection of a beautiful version of the person looking into it.
As part of the project, a series of postcards was also developed.
3D VISUALIZATION
It seems some of the insects have already taken shape: they have been cast and refined. Only a little remains—to cover them in gold and embellish them with precious stones so they can finally shine in all their splendor.
