Bright, creative and ready to experiment!

Hello there! I’m Vlada, an illustrator and live ideas generator.
Throughout my life, I have had not only a longing for art and self-expression, but also an incredible love for the process itself. Coming up with new ideas and experimenting with howexactly I can accomplish the wanted result endlessly fills my life with meaning and — frankly — joy. This days I’m trying my best implementing my creativity and brainstorm capabilities into my non-personal projects as well. Why me though?
There are many reasons, but to highlight three:
◆Experimental mindset
As I’ve said earlier, I love trying new things out be it setting of the story, art materials or styles.◆Bursting creativity
I love asking «what if…» questions and more often than not results prove to be exciting and engaging.◆Attentiveness
I find it quite important not only being listened to, but also to listen. There for I do. I’m listening to correction requests and making them work. What I did already
Whiskers, paws and patches
I did everything from script and character design to illustration getting it ready for printing.
What was it for?
Main point was to present slow fashion options like mindful purchases, secondhand shops and personalised modifications to clothes as valid and sustainableOriginal size 5262x1835
Challenges and results
To my surprise, main challenge happened to be the character design. There are many cats in the world and to make my cats stand out they must be distinctive. In the end I manage to work out some sense of design hierarchy. Main characters were based on hand made dolls and secondary characters were out to be a resemblance of wood carving or clay figurines.Original size 1280x559

What was it for?
Main goal of this project was to explore why figure of God’s prodigal son so interesting for me and in turn understand myself better. It is also an example of the most unusual experimentation of mine: combining highlighters for text with big acrylic canvases.

In terms of exhibition was to put each canvas in front of the sun or any other light source. So both sides of the painting would be visible.
Challenges and results
Interesting but not surprising, main challenge come from the materials! Believe it or not, but filling the whole canvas took a lot of time and dedication. However the results prove to be impressive. Color pallet evokes sense of warmth and longing. And in the end I can present three eye-catching works of art.Thalassophobia
What was it for?
Main goal of this project was to explore different types of composition, but to keep it consistent. Secondary goal though was to evoke unease in the beholder. Since this series of works is about fear of the deep water, why not play into it and portray some marine inhabitants that tend to be scary to people.1/5
Challenges and results
The biggest challenge for me was in balancing. Finding where exactly to put a shark and where to leave empty space was a juggling act. However in the end I got one of my most successful in terms of selling series.Original size 5000x3336
