Hi, I’m Lada!
I’m a type and graphic designer
I’m looking for internship opportunities in type design and graphic design studios.
I like create tools for communication.I enjoy creating typefaces that other designers can use in their own work. For me, a typeface is a tool that helps people communicate ideas and bring their projects to life.

The way i work: 01/ Finding an idea I start by exploring a concept and references and figuring out what I want the typeface to look like.02/ Playing with shapes I sketch letterforms until the typeface starts to develop its own character.03/ Making it work as a system I refine the shapes, compare letters and work on consistency.04/ Testing the typeface I try it in different words, layouts and applications.
Take a look at my work
My selected projects:
> Kupiec typeface
> Cwal typeface
> Jarmarek typeface
Kupiec typeface

Kupiec typeface — a bold geometric sans-serif inspired by the image of a kind and sociable merchant.I wanted to create a typeface that feels open, friendly and full of character, so I combined heavy letterforms with soft curves and rounded inner shapes.
Cyrillic&Latin alphabets, designed for Kupiec typeface
To reinforce the concept of a friendly and sociable merchant, I decided to add support for extended Cyrillic, Latin, and Greek characters.
As a result, the Kupiec typeface now «speaks» more than 300 languages!
Extended Cyrillic&Latin alphabets designed for Kupiec font
Modern Greek alphabet, designed for Kupiec typeface

Project outcome:
1 typeface, 692 drawn characters: Basic Cyrillic & Latin, extended Cyrillic & Latin, Modern Greek, all symbols and numerals.2/ Cwal typeface
Cwal typeface — an ultra-condensed geometric sans-serif with elongated proportions, delicate strokes, and clean circular forms.
I wanted to create a typeface inspired by the feminine silhouettes of the 1950s, inspired by elegant curves and narrow silhouettes, I gave the typeface a vintage feel with a modern touch.
