Problem
Making friends becomes increasingly difficult during adolescence and early adulthood (ages 14–25). Finding someone you can build a lasting connection with can be challenging
Goal
Rethink how people find friends online and make it easier to build meaningful connections
Solution
A friend-finding system based on shared interests, conversation starters, and games designed to help people bond with new friends
The app’s core feature is matching people based on shared interests or topics they’d like to discuss. It connects people who are interested in the same things
During the project’s discovery phase, I conducted problem interviews with more than 20 people to understand the main challenges they face when making new friends and maintaining connections today

Understanding and organizing our feelings and emotions can be difficult, especially when they form recurring patterns.
Goal
Explore a new approach of working through emotional patterns and stressful situations
Solution
A mental health tracker that helps users better understand themselves by assessing their emotional state and simulating past situations.
The app’s core feature is exploring emotional patterns with an AI assistant and working through stressful situations in an interactive quiz formatWe came up with this approach after interviewing over 20 people about how they keep track of their mental well-being and what helps them work through difficult emotions and situations
