Concept
The pattern concept emerged from the visual aesthetics of the film «Beatlejuice» (1988)—its grotesque world, absurd humor, and whimsical typography. The diagonal repeating lettering references the film’s chaotic, slightly manic atmosphere, transforming the inscription into a standalone graphic ornament. The contrast between acidic green and deep purple underscores a mystical mood, while the rhythmic repetition of letters creates an effect of visual motion—as if Beatlejuice’s otherworldly energy is permeating the interior.
