«ODYSSEY”—a series of metal bookmarks inspired by Homer’s epic.
Four bookmarks reference different images of Odysseus’s journey: the siren, the bow shot, and the Greek trireme. Outlined shapes and engraving transform the poem’s episodes into small objects that accompany the reader during reading.

In the ODYSS bookmark design, an original, accent typeface is utilized. Its plasticity resembles a sail filled with wind, connecting the typographic form with the theme of a maritime journey.

Key Features:
Bookmark—helps you save your place in a book. Perforation—secures the page; its position and width are finalized in the mock-up. Illustration and text—link each design element to the imagery of the «Odyssey» and unify the four objects into a cohesive series.
Structure and Materials
Each bookmark is a flat metal piece with a contoured shape and a cutout. The presumed material is stainless steel with a silvery satin finish. Illustrations and inscriptions are applied with a fiber laser; the outer contour and the cutout are laser-cut. After cutting, the edges are deburred and rounded to prevent snagging the paper.
The thickness of each component is 0.7 mm. The working dimensions—which must be verified against the 1:1 sketches and on a mockup using the actual page—are as follows. For storage, a flat box made of birch plywood with a sliding lid can be used. The suggested outer dimensions are 150 × 125 × 20 mm. The bookmarks are arranged in a stack with protective padding between them. Since the largest component is 100 × 90 mm, the complete set, including packaging, fits within the 280 × 180 × 70 mm limit.
