Concept
Set of wooden stamps featuring fragments of Soviet panel housing: concrete panel, window, balcony, entrance, garage, antenna, and «Zhiguli.» Using the stamps, the user constructs their home, courtyard, or an entire neighborhood. All fragments were photographed in the city and translated into graphic form.

Materials and Fabrication

Photographs of urban fragments are converted into black-and-white graphics and mirrored. These templates are used to engrave a design onto a 2.3 mm thick rubber sheet using a laser cutter, and then each stamp is cut along its contour.
Blocks of beech wood are cut to the dimensions of the modules, sanded, and oiled. The rubber is glued onto the block via a thin backing, and a guide pattern is applied to the top surface.
One engraving template allows for the production of a batch of identical stamps. Different houses, courtyards, and streets can be assembled using modules of the same size.
Dimensions
The set includes seven stamps. The concrete panel, the window panel, and the entrance—these are square modules, 50×50 mm. The balcony and garage are rectangular, 80×50 mm; the «Zhiguli» is 90×35 mm; and the antenna is 30×30 mm. The height of all dowels is 30 mm, and the rubber layer is 2.3 mm.All facade modules are 50 mm high, so when printing, the floors align perfectly without gaps.
