At the core of the «Carry It to Your Heart» project lies an exploration of everyday magic—those fleeting, subtle states that typically don’t make it onto the pages of chronicles but constitute the true fabric of human life.

The artist works with archival photographs, pulling out random frames featuring strangers in moments of their highest sincerity. Within the project’s lens, these people become magicians who created the miracle of presence in the moment.

The concepts have been translated into linocut and printed on handkerchiefs. The handkerchief is an intensely intimate object. It is worn close to the body; it is present during moments of tears, nervousness, and embarrassment—when human vulnerability becomes palpable.
The deliberately naïve cutting technique emphasizes the vulnerability and absurdity of these moments when faced with «the grand narrative.»
Print forms of the series
The visual layering, realized across numerous works, transforms the everyday subject into a pattern—a rhythmic incantation—an attempt to capture, hold, and multiply ephemeral warmth.
Exhibition option for the series

The «Carry It Close to Your Heart» project is a pocket atlas of comfort.
Printed handkerchiefs transform into graphic talismans, reminding you that magic is happening right now, and you can gently catch it, fold it into quarters, and slip it into your pocket.
All works in the series are 30×30 cm. Linocut: typographic ink on fabric.
