NA AVOS — a brand inspired by Nikolai Gogol’s poem «Dead Souls» and the aesthetic of 19th-century noble life.

Modular candleholders are created using typographic modules and consist of 12 parts of various sizes and textures. They can be combined to build unique compositions.ON AVOS — it is primarily a game with classicism and randomness, where every move creates something beautiful.
Visualization

The core of the collection’s materials is ceramics, glass, and wood, combining a diversity of textures in an eclectic composition.
Small, invisible magnets are embedded into the base of each module. They secure the components relative to one another, allowing compositions to be changed without visible fasteners.
Product Composition
The set includes 12 modules: cylindrical bases and additional semi-circular and triangular elements.
Cylindrical bases — 4 pcs. Semi-circular modules (ceramics) — 4 pcs, Semi-circular modules (colored glass) — 2 pcs. Triangular modules (wood) — 2 pcs.
Manufacturing Technology
1. Design
Typeface forms are translated into volumetric 3D models. For each of the 12 modules, dimensions, proportions, and a connection system are developed to ensure element compatibility.2. Mold Making
Master patterns are created from the digital models using 3D printing. Gypsum molds are made for ceramic parts, and specialized molds for casting or shaping are prepared for glass.3. Module Production
Ceramic elements are molded, dried, and fired in a kiln. Glass parts are manufactured using casting, followed by cooling and finishing. Wooden modules are cut on a CNC machine and sanded by hand.4. Surface Finishing
Each part undergoes final finishing: ceramics are coated with glaze or retain their natural texture, glass is sanded and polished, and wood is treated with oil or a protective coating.5. Integrating Connections
Hidden magnets and metal elements are installed in the designated recesses designed into the structure. Geometric slots help position the parts precisely and prevent slippage. The connections are designed considering the weight of the modules and the stability of the structure.6. Assembly and Quality Control
The finished modules are checked for dimensional accuracy, compatibility, and stability. Afterward, the elements are assembled into a set of 12 pieces, allowing for the creation of various original compositions.
