Project Concept
A bouquet holder typically serves as a vase or an aqua pack, but both formats have limitations: transfers can leak and do not hold flowers well, while vases are not adapted to the specific size of a particular bouquet.

In the AVIVA project, I merged both functionalities into a reusable design object that is easy to transport and secure in a car, and simple to transform into a vase of the required size.

This vase is designed for small to medium-sized bouquets.
The average bouquet length, from the base («stem») to the top («head»), is approximately 40–50 cm in height.
Since the main part of the flower is the stem and leaves, it is important to account for the portion that is submerged in water—no more than half of the total height.
The kit includes an aluminum nozzle with holes for stems, which easily fits into the base and forms a unified surface for securing flowers.

Base and Lid are made from aluminum—a durable and lightweight metal that prevents leaks and base displacement while maintaining a small overall weight. The removable base and lid connect using a threaded joint—by turning the components clockwise.
Cylindrical silicone mold with a slight taper at the bottom allows you to securely hold a bouquet in water, and subsequently in a car or other transport until it reaches its destination. If desired, you can carry the bouquet by gripping a long, sturdy handle.

The set includes three multicolored clamps. As clothespins, they grip part of the base, allowing you to set the desired width of the vase depending on the number of colors.
Technical Specifications
Materials:
The vase base is made of dense silicone.
The bases for the tray and handle, and the clamps, are made of aluminum.
Silicone was chosen for its flexibility and water resistance, while aluminum was selected for its lightness, strength, and corrosion resistance.

Visualization in the environment

The vase is designed for a light, minimalistic interior where comfort and functionality are valued. Thanks to its neutral colors, the vase doesn’t draw excessive attention but instead highlights the beauty of the plants. The piece takes up little space and fits into any area of the home: on a windowsill, a coffee table, or a kitchen shelf.
