3D Exercises from 2D
In SketchUp, volumetric compositions based on Kazimir Malevich’s «Suprematism,» 1915, were created. The work utilized rhythm, scale, proportion, volume, contrast, and the combination of geometric forms. By transforming flat elements into three-dimensional objects, the characteristic dynamism and expressiveness of Suprematism were conveyed.

«Between Forms» — an art installation and public seating area in the streets of Vitebsk, inspired by the work of Kazimir Malevich and the legacy of avant-garde art. The choice of Vitebsk stems from its unique role in the history of Suprematism: this is where Malevich taught and developed his artistic concepts. By referencing this legacy, I aim to transpose the language of geometric forms and color from the art space into the everyday urban environment. The installation merges artistic imagery with functionality, becoming a place for rest, conversation, and interaction with art. The project offers a contemporary reading of avant-garde ideas, establishing a new point of convergence between the city’s cultural history and the lives of its residents.
