The little imp lives in a burrow deep in the forest. He is curious and kind, but very lonely. He tries to approach the village children playing on the lawn and join their group, but each time, the children get frightened and run away despite the friendly intentions of the unfamiliar forest dweller. One day, unable to handle the children’s reactions to his help, he snaps and chases them away, unintentionally confirming the bad rumors about himself.One day, the imp hears a child crying in the woods and finds a lost girl on the forest edge. He offers to help her get home. Despite their fears, the girl agrees.
