«Contact» brings together students from HSE and the British School who are involved in fashion design and photography. As part of the open enrollment, the organizers select ten designers and ten photographers from their 3rd and 4th years. The participants form ten pairs: in each pair, the designer and photographer come from different schools. A designer from HSE can collaborate with a photographer from the British School, and vice versa. Over six weeks, the pairs create collaborative fashion projects—they discuss clothing concepts, develop a visual direction, and conduct photoshoots. The results are presented at a two-day festival—an exhibition of photography and an experimental show featuring fabric projections.

Media publication «Contact» covers how students from two schools meet and collaborate on a joint project. The focus is on the interaction between the designer and the photographer—what each observes, how they articulate their ideas, and what solutions emerge through co-authorship. We track the entire process: from the initial meeting and mood board discussions to fittings, shoots, and the public presentation. Theme Young fashion, fashion photography, and creative collaboration. Sub-theme Joint projects by fashion designers and photographers from HSE and British Academy. Editorial principle To showcase the individual approaches of the participants, avoiding the attribution of a uniform style to students from a single school.
