A new sonic interpretation of the trailer for the animated film «Wild Robot.» The concept reveals the hero’s internal transformation through sound: acquaintance with nature gradually evolves into an emotional connection with the surrounding world.
At the beginning, cold electronic pulses and mechanical clicks sound. Gradually, a forest atmosphere, animal sounds, warm piano, and strings join them. Their combination conveys the emergence of curiosity, care, and attachment.
Music, sound effects, and original voiceovers for the trailer were generated using AI in Runway. The original audio track was entirely replaced with new sound design. The resulting materials were processed, synchronized with the video footage, and assembled into a multi-track project for REAPER. Special attention was paid to timbre, spatialization, and dynamics—including volume balancing, panning, and seamless transitions between sounds. The gradual integration of mechanical sounds with natural ambiance and warm music conveys the character’s emotional evolution.
