concept

The art object «The Storm Petrel» is a metal ribbon inscribed with lines by Maxim Gorky. It spirals upward from its base on the embankment and culminates in the silhouette of a bird—a symbol of freedom and change. My goal is to create a soundscape that guides the viewer along the same trajectory as the object’s form: from the silence of the night water through the storm to a calm morning, making the «Song of the Storm Petrel» audible.
