Concept
HEART / 800 — a signature accessory that continues the visual language of merchandise for the NGO «800 Good Deeds.» The classic silhouette of the leather gloves is paired with an expressive detail—a heart cutout on the back of the hand. The contrast between the chocolate-brown material and the pink piping makes the symbolism noticeable without turning the piece into a souvenir; the gloves retain the character of an independent fashion accessory. The heart functions simultaneously as a symbol of care, openness, and human connection, as well as as a constructive element defining the model’s recognizability.
Product
A pair of five-finger gloves with a fitted silhouette, a wrist cuff, and a shaped cutout on the back of each hand. The visual reference includes a decorative button and a contrasting trim. The final fastening mechanism will be determined after prototype testing.
Materials and Palette
Primary option: soft, thin glove leather in a chocolate shade; a contrasting edge trim made of thin leather/edging tape in pink; a button matching the edge trim color; thin thread matching the base color. A substitute material is acceptable for the mockup, but the production material must be reliably available from the supplier.
Constructive Concept
Basic glove construction with separate finger pieces and inter-finger wedges; the opening is formed on the back of the hand piece and reinforced or treated so that the edge does not stretch or fray. The specific finishing technique—piping, facings, or another method—is agreed upon with the designer and production after testing on the selected material.
Placement and Size
For the first prototype, one base size is proposed, chosen based on measurements taken and approved by the engineer. Universal numerical sizes cannot be assigned until the fit is confirmed. For a small series, you can start with two or three sizes, provided the engineer approves the gradation and manufacturing can consistently replicate the model.
