Design Cards for «The City That Remembers: Anna Akhmatova’s St. Petersburg»
The concept of the work is to reveal the connection between Anna Akhmatova and the city: how the streets, houses, and squares of St. Petersburg became not merely the backdrop to her life, but active participants in her destiny and creativity.
The card series illustrates how the urban environment shaped Akhmatova’s poetic voice, becoming a source of imagery, metaphor, and personal experience.
The primary goal is to help viewers see St. Petersburg as a space imbued with the living memory of the poetess.
