Golden insights from «The Goldfinch»

The video review was published on YouTube on March 8, 2025. It is part of a series reviewing books, where I discuss what I’ve read in an engaging and accessible way. In the video, I thoroughly analyze the plot of Donna Tartt’s «The Goldfinch, ” as well as its key themes. Special attention is paid to the genre of the coming-of-age novel (Bildungsroman), the psychological timeline of the narrative, and the lexical devices Tartt uses to convey the protagonist’s emotions.
