Horse Tapestry

The «Horses» tapestry is an original textile work created as part of a diploma project focused on developing the identity for the horse rehabilitation center, «Country.» The composition of three red silhouettes explores the expressiveness of the horse’s image through form, color, and rhythm. Through jacquard weaving, the graphic image gains materiality, transforming into a self-sufficient object.

The tapestry was created as an independent, authorial work connected to the diploma project developing the identity for the «Country» horse rehabilitation center.

At the center of the composition are three red silhouettes of horses. The image is built on the expressiveness of the form and color contrast, which makes the animal’s image the main element of the work. The three figures are unified in a single composition. The repetition of the motif allows the viewer to perceive the horses not only as individual animals but as a cohesive visual theme.
