Geometry of Suprematism
The design of the silk scarf is inspired by the Suprematism of Kazimir Malevich. The composition is built on the rhythmic repetition of geometric shapes, the intersection of lines, and the combination of contrasting colors—red, yellow, dark green, and blue. The light background emphasizes the graphic quality of the ornament, creating a dynamic composition rooted in the avant-garde art of the 20th century. The scarf reinterprets the ideas of Suprematism within contemporary textile design.

Material and Manufacturing Technology
The scarves are made from 100% natural silk twill, weighing 14 momme. The pattern is applied using full-color digital printing on the outer side of the fabric. Because the dye penetrates the fibers, the image is visible from both the front and the reverse, allowing both sides of the scarf to be used in a composition.
Edge finishing is done by machine to mimic hand-stitching. A 5 mm allowance is included on each side for cutting.
Manufacturing Cost Calculation
— Silk: 28 linear meters × 2,100 RUB = 58,800 RUB — Digital Printing: 28 linear meters × 700 RUB = 19,600 RUB — Edge Finishing: 20 pieces × 200 RUB = 4,000 RUB — Production Setup: 3,500 RUB
Total: 85,900 RUB Cost per scarf: 4,295 RUB
