This exhibition catalogue explores the work of Franz Kafka and 20th-century artists. It examines how Kafka’s ideas, the atmosphere of his writing and his worldview influenced and found parallels in the work of graphic artists and painters of the last century.

The catalogue features a softcover with a flap, Otabind binding and pearl-finish designer paper.

The characters in Kafka’s works constantly struggle with discomfort and the confines of an irrational, restricted space. This metaphor became central to the design concept.
