My name is Chinenkova Darya Vladimirovna
I’m a fashion designer. I work across every stage of a project, from concept development and research to pattern construction and the creation of finished garments. I design for commercial projects, as well as independent creative and author-led projects.
I’m ready to collaborate with independent brands and creative studios on capsule collections and other creative projects.
I work on a range of projects at the intersection of art and fashion, often bringing the two together in my practice. I’m interested in exploring their relationship and finding new ways to express ideas through clothing and creative projects.
Concept development, research, print design, patternmaking, and tailoring come together across the full process of garment creation. Collection design can also build on an existing brand language, developing it through new ideas, forms, and details.
my memory
Personal memory is the sum of an individual’s specific recollections, experiences, and life history, which shape their unique personality, self-awareness, and worldview.
I view memory from the side people don’t always want to revisit—as a burden that continues to weigh on them, even when they can’t seem to let it go. However painful this burden may be, it is what shapes us. If we rid things of their memories, we risk losing a part of ourselves.
In my project, furniture becomes a kind of tangible photo album, preserving memories of the past.
Wardrobe The wardrobe was made of wood and had a mirror on the door. It held clothes and other belongings, preserving traces of everyday life. Wardrobe sketch The wardrobe was divided into several sections: a place for hanging clothes, shelves, and drawers. Its practical design reflects the way people organized and stored their belongings. Sofa The sofa stood in the living room, where the family spent time together. It was a familiar part of the home, holding memories of conversations, rest, and everyday routines.
Bookcase The bookcase stood against the wall, filled with books and family objects. It stored more than books: it held fragments of the family’s history and personal memories. Mirror and chest of drawers The mirror and chest of drawers were part of the bedroom interior. The mirror reflected the room, while the drawers held personal belongings and everyday objects.

dressing table
This project is rooted in childhood memories. When I was little and wondered what my life would be like when I grew up, I always imagined having a vanity table. I dreamed of sitting in front of it, putting on makeup, and doing all kinds of fun things.
The vanity table serves as an image of growing up and moving from childhood into adulthood.
