As part of my participation in a journalism Olympiad, I wrote a review of Evgeny Tashkov’s film, «French Lessons.» The task required analyzing the movie through the lens of its literary source material and the timeliness of the themes it addressed. In the review, I analyzed the directorial techniques and the actors' performances, and I supported my film critique with arguments. The work received positive feedback from the experts, and I advanced to the final stage of the Olympiad. I also posted the review on Kinopoisk.
